When planets move retrograde they appear to be moving backward in the sky. We have Venus moving backward now for several weeks, first in Leo, then in Cancer.

Expect some reversals with other people, especially as it relates to romantic interactions. There may be a re-kindling with past lovers or partners. 
Venus holds the key to partnerships, the potential (this is what the “Karaka” does). It shows our shared karma with any given thing. As it relates to finding pleasure, beauty and happiness in life, Venus is the Goddess.
Those thing demand that we learn to share equally with others, be generous and grateful for what we have. Partners teach us this.
Eventually we learn to be “happy for no reason” and the highest beauty in things not of this world.
The only hell in this world is in ownership. Once we remember that we own nothing here (especially other people and what makes them happy), then life becomes a celebration.
Beauty is everywhere. It is to be enjoyed, not owned or captured.
