Sam has brought us another great topic so important to understand the culture of Vedic Astrology. Sam and Malini shared stories, the symbology of the stories and how the stories connect to the cosmos by way of Vedic Astrology. This course helped me go deeper into Vedic knowledge and helped me bring a more authentic experience to my yoga classes and when answering questions about Vedic Astrology. Thank you both for a great class. I hope you continue and offer a “part II.”

Deeper Understanding of Indian culture through Astrology behind their Celebrations
I found it to be a wonderful course that broadened my understanding of the Indian culture that I was wanting to know. I have not had the experience of being immersed in it through being involved in Ashrams as some students have. This course explains the astrology and astronomy behind the Indian Stories and Celebrations which is important for serious students of Vedic Astrology to understand. Sadasiva and Dr. Malini bounce off each other in a really enjoyable way and it was personally great to understand the devotion elicited within oneself by performing abisheka on the Shiva Lingham. The practice of divine love and devotion is a higher expression of the Venus energy within us and now I understand what’s going on with the performance of this ritual. I’m not one for performing mindless ritual and can be quite rebellious with that – I want to know the why. I personally feel really drawn to Lord Shiva and this understanding means so much to me. I’m sure you will get something special to you as well, as this course content was very rich and I really appreciate that Dr. Malini and Sadasiva brought this to us.
