I liked reading the course materials..possibly it would be useful...to list actions...changes....mapped to a contemporay lifestyle that an individual lives...in todays world..equipping one to help themselves...a.k.a remedial measures.. mapped to specific..ascendants..or sun / moon sign positions..though...in truth..the whole chart needs to considered for making accurate remedial measures... |

There isn't enough information in what I have read so far ( 8-9 emails ) for me to really get to grips with what is actually a HUGE subject. I feel as if the surface has barely been scratched so far. |
It's hard to offer suggestions because I am not sure who the target audience for the proposed ebook is. There are many possible directions to take the project - i.e. it could be made into a "pop psychology" book - with a relatively easy to understand approach e.g. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus style. It could become a weighty and learned tome dealing with Vedic philosophy for those who want some ddep readings. I am sure the author has plans and I'm sure they will be interesting. I am not sure how the "videos" are to be intergrated. Fascinating. Can't wait to see it. I have some other comments which I will send via email when I have properly formulated them in the hope they will be more succinct and useful. (The above comments are neither wellformed nor comprehensive and are therefore probably not terribly useful - sorry :)) |

It's too cut and dried. It makes me feel bad to be a woman in the modern age. My own theory is that lots of women are developing masculine qualities due to having to work 40 hr week jobs, corporate environments, etc and that men have little or no understanding of how this affects women-- even the women at work don't really seem to have any sympathy. But there is a need to work unless the man has already married the female and is committed to supporting her 100% which these days is rare. Then there are men who say they "just want you to be happy" and will support whatever decision you make so far as career goes but that sometimes seems like total bull--- no man wants a women who goes out on her own and makes a big load of money and is super happy. I think men still want helpless little females. Either that or they want women who have developed a lot of male survival skills and who have maintained an intense core of femininity, which is soooo unrealistic. I consider myself to be a pretty feminine female-- 5 planets in Virgo, Scorpio ASC with Venus and Neptune in 1st-- not a threat to most men in any way whatsoever. I do have an Aries moon badly afflicted so naturally I'm an angry person. I just don't see how cultivating old school chick stuff is getting me anywhere. I don't make enough money, I don't have time for all the dating and bullshit, and I am sick to death of men who don't get what it's like to get up at 5, go all day, work out at a gym, cook my own meals, clean my own house, organize and excute all my own projects, etc. I think a lot of men would want to have nothing at all to do with me even though I've been told I'm attractive. And dont' get me started on the mental end. I will never ever believe for a second that men are interested in intelligent females. That is a load of ultra crap. I've even stopped reading and pursuing any kind of education even though I'm a freaking genius because of how "unfeminine" schooling is. You're course is kind of cool but it could never help someone like me! Hey a couple of weeks after I got my nose done a guy asked me why I wasn't married, why I hadn't been "used up yet". Then for the rest of the time I knew him he referred to me as the Playboy bunny and and said I was probably stupid and liked to collect shoes like Alicia Silverstone's character Clueless. He also said I was probably a cheerleader in highschool and that he would really love to fuck a cheerleader, it was his life long dream. So many guys are slimy cretins while the women of the world have grown up, gotten cool jobs and learned to juggle multiple real-world responsibilites. A lot of guys now a days make me want to puke. |
Pitch it to a super straight, super traditional audience, the Men are From Mars crowd, and it should be a big hit. |

The general presentation was clear. Information and description of terms/ideas was given in a concise, and informative way. I know nothing about Vedic astrology, so having a word defined at the appropriate time made following the material easy. |
It did need some general editing. Just little grammar things like using "women and man." Not mixing singular and plural is basic grammar. Periods go inside quotes now. It did create a distraction. |

It just concerns me a bit that many western women may misconstrue your message and feel you are challenging their independence or demeaning them for being female. Particularly as a male, you may be seen as promoting a male chauvanistic philosophy which is how I find a lot of western women view the traditional Ayurvedic model at first glance. Those with an affinity for Ayurveda no doubt will accept the message in the spirit it is intended but I would not be surprised if a lot get turned off and find it offensive if this were to be their only introduction to Ayurvedic philosphy and Jyotish. Just my thoughts, seeing you requested them. Probably alarmist and overly cautious. Afterall said and done, you are the author and I am just the reader or student. Best of luck with your project. I think that you are stereotyping Male and Female. I feel that you need to draw a difference between Man and masculinity and female and femininity. How I see it - all charts have masculine and feminine energies regardless of whether the person is male or female. In matching people these two energies need to complement each other and need to create a harmony within the matchsystem. Sometimes a women will bring assertive action oriented energy into a relationship(counter to the social stereotype of whathow a man or women 'Should behave' in a relationship) A good match for her for a long term enduring relationship would be a man who brings nurturing calming and intuitive insight to the relationship. What the man is bringing is actualy feminine qualities to relationship and the women is bringing masculine qualities - thus a balance of the energies comes about. If in this example the man brings in a lot of masculine energy I do not see the relationship enduring times when nurturance calm and time out or rest are needed and a burnout is then inevetable. Thus the relationship will burnout. I hope I have made my point clear. I do not think that you would disagree with what I have said , but I do feel that clear distinctions need to be made otherwise many people will fall into the trap of using jyotish as a social engeneering tool rather than a tool that brings light into the nature of the kinds of energies and synergies that are available to them in order to balance and harmonise one of the most diffucult austerities-relationships.
