Hi Sam,
During the solar eclipse from IST 6:25 am to 7:25 am I was worshipping ,doing my regular Prayers.I have Just a little Nervousness,thats all.Also as it appeared in Surat,But whole of Gujarat state was under Dark Rain Clouds,thanks to GOD.

Thanks for everyone’s comments.

I got a severe headache as well that is just now starting to subside. Today is the first day since the eclipse that i did not wake up with a stabbing headache. I still need some aspirin to make it better though.

The lessons are huge now though.. related to Cancer/Capricorn issues..

I study astrology..so I have been anticipating the eclipse energy. I FEEL that eclispe energy begins to build days and weeks ahead of time, then it hits, then the eclipse energy will gradually disappate. If this malefic Rahu/Ketu eclipse was not bad..why did temples all over India shut down & close their doors for 2 days? Only Temples dedicated to Shiva remained open..apparently he is immune to the most powerful Total Solar eclipse seen in the 21st century. And astronomically speaking it was also the longest eclipse till the year 2135 or something like that. Yes I understand that all the smart people were doing spiritual practices during that day/dsyz..cuz eclipse was July 21 & July 22..depending on international date line and where you live. Do you really imagine silly people in China who arranged to be married at the eclipse EN MASSE as reported by the Los Angeles Times newspaper yesterday are going to have success in their marriages? People in Shanghai were treating it like a sideshow event for their express entertainment..the govt allowed the streets lights not to be on so people could observe it better. I personally have had extremely positve things happen over the July 7-July 23 time period. I also have many exalted planets. I have an exalted Venus, my Sun is exalted in Aries, I have exalted Jupiter in the 1st house with Ketu (which makes for spiritual liberation) I believe. My husband & I have been having powerful good things happening for us..but I believe that other people had some HUGE things/changes triggered for them during this time period which by looking at their charts you can predict the results. The same day of the eclipse an old friend I have not heard from or seen in 37 years found me and left me a message at work. I was in a class and didn’t listen to my messages that day. On Thursday, I heard the message and he called me again. We haven’t talked in 37 years and he said he’s has been looking for me the whole time. We had a lovely conversation and it looks like we will meet at some point.

I’m still in shock since he is the one that got away. We were only 17 but what a great, kind person. I went off to college and lost contact. This eclipse truly was amazing……. I can’t wait to see the outcome of our reunion.

p.s. we live in different states…..

I’ve been feeling very strange since the eclipse. I’ve felt disconnected from other people, which is surprising to me because I’m usually so gregarious. There’s also a strange feeling of pressure inside my head. I hope that this all passes soon.

I received some suggestions of ill will in my home. I felt the need to cleanse my house on the 15th, so burnt sage and flowed through my home chanting,…”This house is mine, all evil must leave, I bless the spirits and love you, but you must go…” etc. The next day my work at home job ended as a termination. I am lost and confused, but feel faithful that it was a necessary change, since it happened so abruptly. Bless you all!

I have a friend who had a day filled with everything he touched would fall apart.

I on the other hand; on a tip from another jyotish site for $14 was a part of special Yagya in India with a group of priests during the eclipse there in real time performed sun puja, had a very comfortable day and everything since has been smooth sailing. I was also able to be in meditation during the bulk of the duration.

I am happy!

Since an eclipse only happens when 2 planets are both conjunct and parallel, it’s the equivalent of a 4-planet “stellium” in Western astrology. Any eclipse, therefore, is going to be 4x as powerful as an ordinary conjunction. And this one was right on top of my natal Mars. Mars means War, and the whole thing seems symbolic of how I’ve been having to fight too many battles on too many fronts. There are at least 4 of them: 1) my upcoming divorce (in 2 weeks I’ll finally be eligible to file papers); 2) wrangling with all the creditors and collection agencies — my ability to pay them is contigent upon soon-to-be-ex selling a house we jointly own so we can split the equity, and I have been, in vain, trying to convince him to do this for the past TWO YEARS, so that now my only shot at getting him to move is to allow the mortgage to go into foreclosure; 3) wrangling with the unemployment office to appeal my denied claim after I lost my job over a year ago; 4) fighting my own body’s reactions to these debilitating circumstances, which would be enough to make anybody else commit suicide, have a heart attack, or develop cancer just from being sick with sheer worry. A fifth battle, my efforts to re-establish myself in a new career, have been compromised by having my energies so divided. So I am having to resort to the Fireman’s strategy of “one fire at a time.” And the first fire that’s getting my attention is my own health. The day of the eclipse itself, I was at a doctor’s office reviewing the results of recent blood tests and developing a plan of action, including thyroid meds. The day after the eclipse saw me in another doctor’s office getting an EKG, to rule out the possibility that the thyroid meds might trigger a cardiac event. One bright spot in all of this is that I’ve started a new exercise program called T-Tapp (Mars LOVES physical activity). In the one month I’ve been doing this, I’ve lost 8 pounds and 4 inches off my waistline. Seeing this kind of progress, however small, is encouraging.
