It is hard for many to accept that Astrology evolved into a profound Science that not only includes mundane issues like seasons and earthly cycles, but also one that encompasses a deep understanding of the energetic behind all of creation.

It is the goal of our lifetimes and the hope of the other planets that we learn to express their full energy.

Every living organism throbs with the energy of the Sun. Every heartbeat or moment of photosynthesis or other act that sustains life, has as its origin and is dependant on the Sun.

The real lesson of Venus is not in the pleasure we get through her, but in the pure love she leads us to once we understand her. Physical worldly love is rooted in bliss and pure devotion to God, the highest self. 

Saturn causes the fear that can make us feel  disconnected from our own feelings or wanting to manipulate and control others. But the higher Saturn is a Monk in meditation, focused and steady.

Few would dispute these claims as they are confirmed by logic and observable events, however forgotten they are in most of our daily lives.

From an Astrological perspective, spiritual growth is learning how to express the full energy of all of the planets. It is learning to allow the rays of each planet to shine fully through us.

The Sun is considered a slightly malefic influence in the birth chart as it burns things up and shows where we can over exert our ego. 

Stated simply, Mercury can be the most immature of all the Planets. But he is more of a naïve fool, not a thug. When acted upon by Sattvic planets like Jupiter and Venus he becomes a major benefic, helping them manifest their goals and reach their highest truth. 

Wherever he is and whatever planets he aspects will give little fulfillment, because Ketu is motivated by absolute perfection. He is trying to perfect things so that he may be free of them and ultimately free of the world. Whereas Rahu indicates those traits we must develop in this life time, Ketu indicates the ones we have just recently developed.
