Our bodies run on the same 24 hour cycle as the Earth. Every morning the Earth turns to face the Sun’s life giving energy.

The prism separates the colors from each other and from their  source. In reality their rays are one with each other and with the source itself.

That is to “enlighten” all things internal and external with the ONE light of universal truth.  The lower Sun is an overly egotistical personality. It can display a selfish, tyrannical disposition, a lack of confidence and vitality as well as a lack of direction and healthy use of power. 

Again, he will behave according to what is influencing him.
Mercury rules Wednesday and is a neuter planet. 

  As Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and the ability to expand, through Ketu, he removes obstacles in our spiritual path, enabling us to expand internally. Whereas Rahu is the Planet of worldly expansion, attached to worldly desires. Ketu is a contraction of that same energy.

How often do we stop to remember that during the sunrise or sunset it is not the Sun that is moving, it is the Earth that is turning.

Venus gives exactly what we need to love fully all the time, but we are not able to express her full energy until we purify the fears and desires associated with our smaller self, the ego. Thus Yoga and other disciplines give techniques on how to purify.

But the problem is with us and not with Mars. A strong Mars is fearless and not threatened by the perceived power of others.

Mercury - (Budha) rules GEMINI (masculine) and VIRGO (feminine) - A Rajasic Planet - Mercury is ruled by Lord Vishnu - Lord Vishnu imbues Mercury with the power of discrimination, reason, intellectual compassion and the skills necessary to transform ideas into worldly manifestation. 

  Rahu (North Node) and Ketu are the eclipse points, where the earths orbit around the Sun and the Moon’s orbit around the Earth intersect. They create shadows and obscure all they come in contact with. They actually are one entity (a serpent) that has been cut in half. The head is Rahu and the tail is Ketu.
