Lowell Astrologer here. I live in San Francisco, but i have clients and students from all over the world. I have many vedic astrology classes and free daily horoscopes.

Through Astrology we gain insight into our deep-seated mental patterns and the karmas they cause. These patterns (samsaras) show the lessons our soul is trying to learn.

The same is true with a month; it is the 30 days it takes the Moon to wax from new to full. A year is the time it takes the Earth to complete its annual orbit around the Sun.

The seven rays of light indicate the planets and their forces. All seven colors fully shone and integrated comprise the original, single ray of light. Yet we struggle with even the individual rays in their full expression.

That is to “enlighten” all things internal and external with the ONE light of universal truth.  The lower Sun is an overly egotistical personality. It can display a selfish, tyrannical disposition, a lack of confidence and vitality as well as a lack of direction and healthy use of power. 

As a rajasic planet Mercury also has the tendency to seek over stimulation through the senses and be unfocused. 

  Ketu wants to be free of the world and its desires. He creates discontent, doubting, escapism and too narrow of a focus on all he touches. He is planet of sharp criticism and explosive frustration and temper. He acts like Mars in this way.

Who am I:
