Livonia Astrologer here. I live in San Francisco, but i have clients and students from all over the world. I have many vedic astrology classes and free daily horoscopes.

Through Astrology we gain insight into our deep-seated mental patterns and the karmas they cause. These patterns (samsaras) show the lessons our soul is trying to learn.

Venus gives exactly what we need to love fully all the time, but we are not able to express her full energy until we purify the fears and desires associated with our smaller self, the ego. Thus Yoga and other disciplines give techniques on how to purify.

Every living organism throbs with the energy of the Sun. Every heartbeat or moment of photosynthesis or other act that sustains life, has as its origin and is dependant on the Sun.

Rahu - A Tamasic Planet - Durga, the wrathful female diety is the ruler of Rahu. It is through the grace of Mother Durga that the Tamasic energy of Rahu can be transformed.

Many other Earthly cycles such as high and low tides, women’s menstrual cycles and the mating habits and rituals of many other Earth creatures are determined by the Moon’s monthly orbit.

This lower Mars is hung up on how things “should or shouldn’t be” in the world. It is for this reason that Mars is Tamasic. Anger creates ignorance. Ignorance is Tamasic.

Saturn establishes the limits that we must respect such as time and death. I once heard it said that Jupiter is wisdom, but Saturn is the truth. I like this explanation.

Who am I:
