When the
movements and energetic vibrations of the Planetary placement aligns
with our Chakras, we get pulled into a body so that we can come to
Earth (or any other planet) as there are certain karmas that we can
only work through in a physical body.

From an Astrological perspective, spiritual growth is learning how to express the full energy of all of the planets. It is learning to allow the rays of each planet to shine fully through us.

Mars – (Kuja) Rules ARIES (masculine) and SCORPIO. (feminine) It is a Tamasic Planet - Mars is ruled by Skanda / Subramanya. 

Whatever is influencing him will determine how he uses his skills and how he will behave. When aligned with Mars for instance he can be turned into a liar and a cheat. In such a situation he can be the smooth talking used car salesman, one who will rip you off and not feel too bad afterwards. Not because he is such a terrible guy, per se, but due to an underdeveloped, childish view of the world that doesn’t think before it acts. 

As a disembodied head, Rahu represents our desire nature, he is our material desires, but on a subconscious level. He shows the obsessions and the desiring that distorts our perceptions and eclipses our peace of mind. (the Moon) He is the demon tempting us through worldly desires. The power of these unfulfilled desires are the main karmic forces through which we have incarnated in this lifetime.

Given that we are not directly immersed in nature everyday, it is easy to forget that we are residing on a large round globe that makes one revolution per day and moves around a larger globe at the center of a larger system of planets.

All human suffering is a result of the inability to express the full energy of the Planets.

The Sun is considered a slightly malefic influence in the birth chart as it burns things up and shows where we can over exert our ego. 

Let’s face it, if all there was to do was work and do our duties with no relief or enjoyment, life would not even be worth living. Almost anything we can associate with ‘living the good life,’ falls under the domain of Venus. 

  We will tend to neglect the things associated with Ketu, yet fall back on them like a crutch and be critical of them. Ketu can prevent positive growth in life in this way.
