From an Astrological perspective, spiritual growth is learning how to express the full energy of all of the planets. It is learning to allow the rays of each planet to shine fully through us.

Mars is a malefic planet bringing an opinionated, reckless and willful nature to all it touches. It is also a very logical planet, generally using logic for argument.

The downside of Jupiter’s expansive nature is that he can be quite haughty at times, concerned with appearance, status and the admiration of others. 

  Rahu does this so that we will learn the lessons that he forces us to learn. He shows the karmic patterns in which we are stuck. But Rahu is also a very powerful creative force. Many artists and unusual people have a powerful Rahu. A strong Rahu can make a person a king.
